Macro fails on Power Word: Shield ?Follow

Hi

I've just started playing a priest so I decided to set up some macros. One I set up was

[yellow]/cast [target=mouseover,help] Power Word: Fortitude; [target=player] Power Word: Fortitude[/]

this works a treat, allows me to use one button to cast PW: F etc etc.

However - this won't work on PW: Shield for some reason .... even when I shifted the grammar to the blunt

[yellow]/cast [target=player] Power Word: Shield[/]

it failed and requested a target (by using glowing hand mouse pointer).

Any idea why this is and is it possible to create a macro that does what I originally wanted ?

Thanks

I've had power word shield in a macro before. The only thing that I can think of is that you had it spelled wrong somehow. Or Blizzard changed it, which i doubt.

Something like this will work you can add mouseovers yourself(this will cast it on someone else if he's in a group with you or yourself if not)

#showtooltip
/cast [group,help][target=player] Power Word: Shield

The thing to remember though is PW:S can only be cast on someone in your group/raid, not any random friendly player so were you perhaps trying to cast it on someone you weren't grouped with?
