What threat meeter is everyone using now? I was using KLHThreatMeter pre BC, I found an upgrade for the 2.4 patch but I can't see anyone in the raid on my meeter?

I think almost everyone has switched from KLH to Omen. Also, since 2.4 revamped the combat log, Omen has had new updates popping up frequently. Older 2.4 compatible versions of Omen are sometimes incompatible with newer 2.4 versions. There is a compatibility check in Omen now so you can see who in the party/raid has a threat meter that will work with yours.

While I haven't had an opportunity to use it in a group yet, I've been using Diamond Threat Meter for the last few days and am quite happy with it. It seems to be much more accurate than Omen, which I used to use, since the 2.4 patch.

I use Omen. It was extremely buggy and was constantly being updated for the first week or so after the patch but all the issues have mostly been fixed now.

thank god, I quit downloading the new one everyday. Just wanted to do some dailies for a while until they fixed it for good.

But as others have said, Omen is the popular choice nowadays.

As for Diamond threat meter, does everyone need to have Diamond or can it work with Omen?

I can now say that Diamond Threat Meter does work well in groups. I can see everyone's threat even if they don't have DTM, or any threat meter for that matter. It will also emulate both KLH and Omen so others with those addons see your threat. I'm hoping that people start trying it out and that DTM becomes the new standard.

I'm pretty sure DTM runs on the exact same backend library as the threat recording system in Omen so it's just a matter of display preference, not accuracy. I'm running Omen and the looks and display mode is very practical and very customizable so that it actually looks like another of my eePanels when empty. Why would I switch to something which is new but gives no actual benefit?

DTM gets its data from the new combat system so it can read everybody.

Which means it can't be all that accurate, unless it somehow scans your party's talents to see who has threat reductions/boosts, or even enchants for some reason. The only way for it to be truly accurate is for everyone to have it and share their personal data.
