So, what do I use for a pull if I didn't go engineering? Does everyone just buy EZ-Thro Dynamite? This seems like a big problem?

Use your body.

(no, I don't mean to sound like a terd: I'm serious)

Yeah, just run up, get aggro, and if you don't want more than that, run back. No pulling until lvl 40 if you are holy, 50 if you are prot, and mid-50s if you want a boomerang.

Unless you are a BE, then mana tap can pull mobs that have mana.

You didn't train crossbows? Sometimes the game glitches out and doesn't let you train it. Just keep talking to the weapon trainer (any of them) and if you don't see it, keep talking to him, it'll show up eventually.

The correct answer is.... EZ-Throw Dynamite. A Pally's true friend.

Cheap to buy at the AH - it allows you to throw a small stick of dynamite at a mob - from a distance.

I used it to pull mobs all the way up to 55 - when i got Linkin's Boomerang - which I'm still using at 70.

Buy some - try it out. EDIT: No engineering talent required.

Best thing for a Pally.

You're probably fighting mobs that are too low-level for you. Go to an area with slightly higher-level mobs and they'll come right over without waiting for an introduction.

Pulling is not all that important for a paladin (you're designed to take some hits, and should be able to take two mobs most of the time in any spec really), but if you really want to pull try engineering as a trade and make some dynamite and/or roll a BE and remember to use mana tap on mobs that have mana. But really, it's a good idea to get used to *not* pulling as a paladin.

Oh no, I fight mobs 2-3 levels above me I'm in hillsbrad now and it just seems like a big pain when like 3 come at me at once then one runs off and agros 2 more..

I have a 70 lock with good CC so its a little different there with the pally.. I'm not useto just running into a mob, i keep thinking I have cloth on lol.

I had this issue when I was about your level. Just keep an eye on the mobs health and stun him before he bolts. Or an even better option is to judge Justice so they can't run away at all. You'll get Hammer of Wrath at level 44 which lets you eliminate runners with ease.

After a while I found that I actually started to like runners. They bring their friends to me so I can kill them without all that hassle of moving my character. I find myself saying "go tell your friends" as I let them run off.

If you can't pull yourself, let the mobs do it for you ;) Yea, unless I'm in an instance, I actually like this too. Or if I bit of more than I could chew and am oom, but then it's my own damn fault =P

This is the fun part of soloing BRD and clearing the first few big rooms you come to. Run into the middle and pick up a few, killing them slowly. When they run away, they'll pick up others and you don't have to move at all, most of the time. I usually just back up into the tunnel and pick up more that way.

I actually find it slower going with a dps class, as they kill too fast for my JoW/SoW to be much use. If I solo, I can go on for a very long time without drinking, and just throwing a heal if figurine is on CD. BTW, that trinket is the most sexy in game for a warrior or pally tank, I think.

I went into LBRS to finally go get my UBRS key done (no real reason except I wanted it :D). Just inside the instance where you can go up to the left for UBRS, go down through some trash, or go up on the right and jump down: I did the jump down, and rounded up that whole room. I was fighting them all, and they were running away. Just as the group was almost all thinned out, all the runners had come back each bringing another group. I was doing this for about 25 mins before I got bored, lol. That trinket is definitely amazing.

Sorry, off topic, but I had a fun doing that for a while :)
