I just got my account back yesterday after a hack attack a month ago. My gear is gone from my priest, which was only 61 to begin with, but when you are trashing an account for gold I suppose you sell everything.
So with my account back, 100g donated from Blizzard, I returned to the priest, and hit the AH to grab anything.. something. Luckily, I was able to get together decent level 60 gear, 1h mace, a wand, and 4 netherweave bags for that 100g.
Obviously, gearing up came to mind. And to hit instances was a thought, yet after a run of hellfire, main healing as a spriest, I noticed I am not doing that well.
Not having wonderful gear, yet decent enough AH greens, I believe is a main reason. While I understood even being a spriest doable as main healer roles 60+, I figure I'd have a good run.
I guess I can tough it out, I hate struggling so badly in a healing role. But I almost want to use what gold I've made so far to respec for healing to help out.. but hate the fact that will cut down my leveling minus shadow.. argh.. frustrating.
I just need some opinions on the situation.. I am not exactly happy with it, and had thought I was gone from the game for good, until Bliz sent me an email about my account being active once more.

Your best bet really is just to keep grinding, hopefully get some gear with some +heal to help you out a bit, i wouldn't heal anything past slave pens just to be on the safe side, untill you feel confident in your gear. If you can try running Ramps and get some of the healing drops there, there's a neck and pant drop if I remember correctly.

Yaaar, I did.. but then they sent the email and all.. I went into the account to see the damage. I had 100g and my epic land mount (logged into swamp of sarrows which was odd) and figured, "I can do this." =p

And I've done alright so far. Got some drops, gold from quests. Finally got some jewelry so people will quit asking me why I don't have any. Everytime I was grouped with someone I got asked lol. I just made a macro explaining the situation. A nice guild picked me up, and were helpful with runs and whatnot. All and all, not bad getting back into the game.
P.S- You really quit Frog? I can never tell with you and your posts with how serious you are.

I haven't gotten my priest to Outland yet. So I'm not positive. But the other 5 toons I have taken thru HF and Zang replaced 90% of their equipment with 61-65 quest rewards and instance drops. Just keep questing and your gear will update itself.
