Again Blizzard Screws Me....first warriors ..now Shamans !Follow

I roll an enhance Shaman as my alt, my main is a 61 mage frost speced.
I love pvp with my enhance shaman, someone mentioned picking the right time to jump into the fray!!! Woot! someone has some brains! No one can handle 2 or 3 or more horde ganking them! So... You wait till you have team members that can back you up! If you play a shaman as a part of a TEAM you will win more often.
As far as getting ganked in the environment, well, yeah it sucks, but dang you have a high level character already, surely you should be jaded by now from being ganked ??? No class does well against +30 levels or even 10 levels above them.
BUT as enhance if i see any horde NEAR my level alone i jump them and gank away and 8 times out of ten i come out with a kill...
And YES its about the gear and talent build. I will endeavor to show you my enhance build, im 39% crit rating with enhance spec. And that is what enhance is all about.
Now for PvE, im invited as soon as i log in for groups to run sm, i dont even have time to go to the bank or AH often times lol, i top DPS in my groups and end up healing and rezzing if the main healer cannot keep up, all the while STILL dps'ing. Ive only had one group wipe in sm, and thats in maybe 10 runs so far.
In addition i wonder if your gear is correctly selected? Mail is adequate for Shaman IMO, Plate would make shaman unbalanced. Dont go for the most armor rating but look at the other benefits. For instance Go with a piece that has lower armor rating if it gives you crit bonus, or melee damage bonus. It's all about gearing yourself to make the most of EVERY single hit! Consider when you crit, your damage is doubled and your bonuses are added BEFORE it is doubled...
Frost shock in PvP is a must, make them panic!Throw all your instant casts into a macro, and hit em up with that while closing distance. And keep in mind some poeple are just monsters in PvP and have kiting down to an art form, you wont catch everyone nor beat everyone, that simple.
The only other serious advice i can give you is to read the advice of others in this thread, it appears everyone knows thier stuff!
And Warriors are ok in PvP, again its about picking your fights and not jumping into a herd of horde without having a healing class and others to back you up... BtW my warrior eats mages for lunch in bg's, charge! Use your stun attack to open! It really is that simple!

Yeah, i noticed it was about lvl 70 arena lol, i play on private servers as well, i have a lvl 70 Enhance Shammy, and everything i said pretty much applies, the only difference from low/mid level to high levels that i have noticed is resilience/resistance blocking frost shock and other elemental spells, in addition the skill level of players in arena for the most part make the grade STEEP. Yes skill>gear no doubt but good skill+gear means no complaining about inadequacies of the class/talent build. I'm not dissing the original poster by saying that, as i wouldnt want to be dissed, myself. For i have played all of 6 months. LVL 61 frost mage, lvl 39 shaman enh, lvl 39 hunter, 4 level 20's so i have all the classes covered on Deathwing server. Plus several toons on private servers all lvl 70 so i could see if leveling to 70 was like on bliz server.
Yeah Enhance shaman COULD be built back up some from the nerf that was given some time ago, as blizz over reacted. But im saying PvP Enhance shaman is still viable if played right. I personally dont mind dying, i focus on doing what damage i can and working as a team to get the most out of what i got to work with. Shamans played right dont suck at PvP. My teammates evidentally think i rock as they have turned down many poeple and many classes to keep me on. Even when i wasnt so active =)...
Let the tankers do thier job, purge as many targets as you can and if they try to close, instant cast macro then do your melee. If you are not jumped go after the other teamates clothies!
