okay I am slightly confused now. I thought the defense rating helped make you uncrushable. but now im being told that it isnt def rating.
Can I get a little help here so I can get this streightened out?
Is def for uncrushable or uncritable?

Hitting the defense cap makes you uncrittable, but it doesn't prevent crushing blows.
You need 102.4% total avoidance (miss/dodge/parry/block) to prevent crushing blows
Only way to get those off the mob's attack table is to get Shield Block up and hope that you won't get hit 3 times within 5 seconds. It's a major issue with Prince as the combination of Trash and Parry will blow trough your 2 block charges rather quickly, and you'll find yourself in a world of hurt.
Only raid bosses deal crushing blows. You don't need to worry about them elsewhere.

Thanks for the help. I was a little lost. I respeced back to Arms/fury as our tank respeced back from resto. He doesn't like healing as much as he thought he would.
