QFT. It takes something special to be a decent retadin. No doubt it's much easier now that welfare grants have been made easier to acquire, but welfare won't get you far in terms of end game content anyway. But what am i saying, you're capjack, of whom i remember reading will never touch endgame. Any decent healadin will eat retadins. i'm in shockadin spec (makes dailies easier, i'm not into grinding pvp anyway), with next to 0 resil, and i still murdered my guild's retadin, who's the only decent pve retadin i've ever met.

But i digress. My point is simply that ret is a horrific choice for pvp. Not enough burst, not enough natural durability. You may feel differently, but the fact is that retadins can get ****** by so many classes in so many different ways. BGs and 1.4k rated matches aren't measures of pvp viability fyi.

But who am i to talk? You pay the same i do every month, the choice of being an inferior whelp is yours.

Awww but I made ALLLL of those points for Retribution viability in my posts. (HAHA it's funny, because I made none)

I'm under no illusions, I'm just having fun.

Although, just wanted to point out, yeah a Paladin healer is probably one of the worst healers for me to go after. Too much armor, and a bubble if I start to get close to winning. With all my interrupts on 1-2 min timers, can't really win the extended fight.

i'll only suggest: 3/3 Crusade and Divine Prupose! get pts from Vindication and/or imp SotC. also if you're just gonna pvp, fix your Prot talents. either add some or get out of it.(use Benediction and/or Fanaticism to go deeper)

also 3 underrated spells:
1)Exocism for warlock pets. take em behind a column and 3 shot em.
2)Turn Evil for warlock pets. get outa here old ichy *******.
3)Righteous Defense for other pets. you get to control the pets.

as far as gear, let the pieces do the talkin. it wont let you drop below 25% crit, 1400 AP, 9k hp, 5k mana, 200 resil. beef up where you think you lack, ie too much dying = resil/stam gems and chants.

btw, im Prot for a while. MgT is unkind to Ret. but have fun, and welcome to the Lawl side.
