Hunter Abilities - Editors/Writers WantedFollow

As you may or may not be aware, we're in the middle of creating a wiki for the site. We haven't been very official about it yet as we get the pieces together, but I pieced together the list of hunter abilities from the FAQ. You can find it here

What I'm looking for:

a) people to look over the article and see if there's anything wrong or missing. Note that we want brief to-the-point descriptions on the article list.
b) writers (if anyone is willing) to help write about the individual abilities. To do that, go to the page linked up above and click on one of the abilities.

If the article was written already (and the link was orange,) look over it and you're welcome to consider editing it.

If the article was NOT written already, you'll be in a blank text box to create it. Cut and paste the following into the box to start off with:

Category:World of Warcraft
Category:Abilities (WoW)
Category:Hunter (WoW)

Then above or below that, actually write the information you want people to see. There's a little more to it than that, and I can tell you about that if you want. (Or you can check out the Wikibase forum that has a few FAQ type things in it.)


We have a lot of work to do on the wiki, and need to gradually get the community involved. I figure this is a good way to start.

I'd be willing to take a stab at it, but I won't have the free time for at least a couple of days. I love alla, been using it since my FFXI days (I think my Hyu account still exists), when it was the best thing for that game since sliced bread. I may not know everything off the top of my head, but I know how to do research. So yeah, whatever you need Az, sign me up.

I've looked at the wiki and it looks good so far. Like the main wiki's it's focused on a neutral perspective and just the facts. This allows the readers to come to their own conclusions about what they read.

In a sense this separates the wiki from the forums here where opinion rules and it's hard to get a straight clear answer.

I'd be more than happy to help contribute to the wiki in the areas I have good knowledge in, and review other posts to make sure that they are to the wiki standard. Please point us at any specific 'standards' that we need to maintain beyond those mentioned in the wiki itself!

That's the only thing i had to say. With the brown background, the coloring has already made my eyes hurt. I'd fix the missing capital letters, but i'm sure someone else will do it and add a lot more than i could.

Ebonspine, I saw what you did with the Tranq Shot. I appreciate what you did there. Considering I'm keeping the descriptions to the point, maybe you'd like to write the actual article for Tranq Shot, where you can actually explain in a little more detail where it can be used?
