Mutilate Question PLEASE!!Follow

I really want to try out mutilate soooo badly but i have some questions. For arena is it only good with a healer? Because right now i 2v2 with a lock and a mage and i was woundering will i do well with mut. IM shs right now of course, just like any other rogue. Is it worth using the S1 daggers if i decide to get them? Also is it good for bg's in general? I just would like some feedback on it since i dont know myself and dont want to waste 50g on respecc plus honor on dagger.
