oh noes! death knight name/race?Follow

yay, im thread number three!

now for the on-topic part of the post:

my death knight is going to be named ralphus. if possible, hes going to be either a gnome or draenei death knight for alliance, or a tauren/troll death knight for horde. of course, the race is all speculation because we dont know who can be what, but im hoping for at least one of those four to be choices.

Mine's probably gonna be an orc, since I don't have an orc character. His name is probably gonna be Kargoth, for lore reasons. :P I'm such a geek, but: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_knight

It's kind of a misnomer. There are two distinctly different kinds of death knights. Those of Warcraft II are different from those of Warcraft III.

Wasn't the whole Death Knight thing supposed to happen with your main after you got him/her to lvl 80?

I don't touch arenas, just do BGs, have no addons save for Omen2 and MyRolePlay (and WoWReader), and get 8 FPS in normal conditions (18 in perfect (enclosed cave) conditions), and 2 FPS is hectic fustercluck situations like, say, in a WSG flag room.

I like the idea of a Troll Death Knight. Can't put my finger on why, just seems like they'd be cool.

My guess would be that a rune isn't restored unless all three Mana Tap charges are up for the Arcane Torrent.


Edit: Geez, guys, the "You're four" means "You're thread number four." Quor said he was thread number 3, but Jordster's thread was sub-defaulted at the time so I guess Quor didn't see he was thread 4.

This will be tricky for them to handle... the descriptions so far have implied Runes regenerate slowly unless you use cooldown-based abilities to regenerate them.

I'd like to think Mana Tap would restore a Rune per charge (because a Blood Elf DK would also look badass), but I cant help but think it would be over the top for PvP.

My guess would be probabilistic; each charge gives you a 50% chance to regenerate a random Rune.

I think you just make an alt with that name, then delete it later.
