As a fairly casual player, it's taken me a while, but I have just hit 60 with my gnome warlock and without pausing for breath I ran headlong into the Dreadsteed quest with out bothering to read up on the quest chain.
About 200g later and about halfway through the quests, having just completed the mats part and about to start on the Xorothian Glyphs branch, i actually read a bit about whats left and find to my horror that there is another 5 quests to do and on top of that its going to cost me another 200g or so.
I am aware that some of the mats can be obtained from another lock but as a mainly solo player up till now that might not be an option, furthermore, i know that to get a normal epic will cost a lot more in gold but maybe not in time or frustation (getting together a pug and getting to and from the quest givers, etc..)
My questions to the more experienced warlocks out there are these:
1) Do you own a Dreadsteed and do you now think it was worth doing so looking back?
2) Is there a certain amount of prestige in owning one and do you look down on level 60+ locks who don't have one?
I'm not a lazy player by any means, but lacking anyone else to ask i thought i would post on this forum and look forward to your advice.
