I know there are plenty of rants out there but I rather enjoy hearing others' experiences so I will share mine too. If anyone else has a similar experience feel free to post!

As a 49 disc priest, I was invited to help run a 29 rogue through SM library along with a 61 warlock. On the way there, the rogue aggros everything in sight and screams, "bubble me! bubble me!" so I do, the mobs go for me, I bubble myself, and we go on. Fine. Then when we run by that little camp with the ?? guards, instead of taking a tiny detour around them he runs right past, aggros them, I bubble him, they run after me, and I die before I can even get a bubble up. Grr.
By the time I make the corpse run, the other 2 players are already inside and I have to go find them because they didn't bother to wait. Then the 61 warlock sets to follow me, puts minion on aggressive and goes AFK. Minion proceeds to aggro everything in sight, somehow the 29 aggros another group of mobs and yells "bubble me! bubble me!" so I do, of course all mobs go to me and (long story short) end up going dying under 6-8 mobs.
The 29 wanted me kicked because I couldn't keep everyone alive, but the leader was the 61 AFK so I just left. My skill just couldn't keep up with their stupidity...GRRRRRR.

Why didn't you just bubble him?

Level trumps all others... leave it at that. A 29 rogue who acts like an idiot is just that... an idiot.

I had a similiar experience, but luckily the 70 Paladin and my (at the time) level 67 Priest were helping a hunter and rogue through Ramps, and the Rogue was idiotic as well trying to pull aggro and just run through quick. We let him die, he said we sucked and that he could get a better group together to go faster so I told him to go ahead and do that. He said what do I mean... we then booted him as the 70 Paladin was group leader, did a general shout to see if anyone wanted a free run through and we filled the group and completed everything in quick fashion. Hunter thanked us as he got some killer drops as did everyone else.

Bottom line is there are lots of lower level players that think because they have a toon at "x" level they can demand or know how to do it better. However, they do not know your macros, playstyle, mods, etc... that all go into the game and sometimes need to just settle down and let the game unfold for everyone.

Haha WhiskeyDuck your story is great. Next time it happens to me I'll know to do something similar. I don't mind helping people out, but when they're being obstinate and stupid it's just not worth it. Save the effort for those who are grateful for it :D
