Hi i have looked at a few posts but cant seam to find the answer to this question.

What stats do i aim for to tank normal magisters' terrace? I have been turned down from it being told I need 14k HP for normal. Now i am sure kara only needs 11/12k? Anyway here is my armory can i do it?

Normal Magister's Terrace, I'd say maybe 1k more health than a tank I'd find acceptable to tank a regular Shadow Labyrinth. Mostly since much of the damage in there is spell damage and is much harder to mitigate.

However, please tell me you have a better trinket than that Scourgebane for tanking.

Assuming you really want a stamina trinket
The good news: As a jewelcrafter, you can make a trinket that has almost double the stamina. It also has int and a use for when you want to get a lot of threat fast.

The bad news: You need Keepers of Time revered to get the pattern.

The mitigating news: Revered with Keepers of Time is ridiculously easy. You'll get most of the way there in one Durnholde and one Black Morass.

If you don't mind looking at any tanking trinket in general
Quest Reward: Dabiri's Enigma

Crafted(JC): Dawnstone Crab

From Terokk(Summonable outdoor boss in Skettis): Brooch of the Immortal King

I mention these specifically since you don't have to be in an instance to get em. And yes, I know they're not exactly relevant to your question, but I seized on an opportunity to help you, as I know many people will take a look at that and wonder about it, possibly not wanting to run with you since your gear is technically outdated because of that.

You only want 490 defense, not 499. And actually, for a 5 man 485 is enough to stop crits.

You're a smidge undergeared for MrT. In particular, you should get a proper chest piece, shoulders, trinkets, and possibly even rings. With that taken care of you should have enough defense from GEAR that you can drop most/all of those hybrid gems for straight up stamina and thrive.

14k is just a stupid benchmark for MrT. If you're wearing all of the best pre-raid Blues and easily obtained Epics (Green Fortress, Empyrean Tortise, DMC: Vengeance, Libram of Repentance, SSO Rep Shield) in gear gemmed fully with Solid Stars and enchanted properly you're sitting at just over 12k base HP as a Blood Elf and are easily capable of tanking everything up to and including Curator in Kara, you might have problems after that though...

Geared to tank Curator but not REGULAR MrT? I think not...

I'm not suggesting you're at that point yet, just illustrating how idiotic a 14k HP minimum for a Pally tank in regular MrT is. The most important piece of gear you bring is your brain to that instance. And a spell damage weapon :D
