I was on my 54 druid today, hanging out at the Tirisfall/WPL border. I was in travel form. I stepped away to grab some food, and when I came back I saw a 58 BE hunter trying his damnest to tame me...... /sigh.

You shut up right now. Shut up! That's the funniest fahkin thing I've read on these forums in weeks.

Maybe it was just a goof.

A few times, while I was playing as my druid, I'd come across a hunter in a capital city with a jaguar pet that has a skin like my travel form. When I see them at banks, or whatever, I tend to park myself next to their pets for the whole identical twin animal look.

On one occasion I had a hunter whisper to me, explaining that they just had a player whispering them to ask how they managed to get two pets out at the same time.

If that's the truth..... I weep for the future. :P

As I started reading the OP, im thinking...sigh, whats the Drood gonna complain about now.....

I now have my fellow Office workers and staff asking me if I forgot to take my medication today. Smiley: lol

I am still chuckling about it.

It's like the hunter thought to himself, "oooh, 'Rinkkel' -- a named beast! This must be one of those rare pets!

I wonder if said Hunter thought to him/ herself. "I wonder why he is not attacking me?"

Still laughing.

Did he get the little hearts going?

Maybe it was some kind of love-love ritual.

I can't stop chuckling to myself... not because it's that funny, but it's about the saddest damned thing I think i've heard about Hunters in a while.

I can just imagine him going "why the hell won't my tame beast button work!?" click, click, click, click, click... "I need to call a GM...."

I'd love to see the GM's response to the guys ticket.

Did you go up to him and kill him? I mean, I know he was 4 levels above you, but if he was stupid enough to try to tame you, I could hardly imagine that he'd comprehend what was going on when that yellow spotted kitty suddenly turned dark blue and started to kick his ***.

Lure him to an arena, he won't know about the free-for-all pvp in arenas if he tried to tame a drood.
