Rage Generation/Tracking (2 questions)...Follow

A) Do Warriors generate rage on a dodge/parry? I was under the assumption that they do not (or if they do, its a negligable amount). This is supported by the rage generation formulae, which all seem to factor in damage taken. But I was reading WoWWiki and found...

Rage can be generated by the following methods:

*Being hit
*Being hit by an attack generates rage based on damage taken.
*Attacks that are blocked/parried/dodged also generate rage.
See Formulas:Rage generation for the formula for the amount of rage gained from damage taken.

B) What is the easiest way to track rage generation/use over the course of a fight? I'm really hoping there's a mod out there somewhere that tracks rage the way Omen tracks threat or Recount damage... I saw the formulas on wowwiki and will apply them to fight by fight info from recount if needed, but it seems like there must be an easier way.

Appreciate any replies. I'm working on optimizing my talents/gear to improve my TPS while maintaining adequate mitigation stats (I'm Prot). Before I reallocate talent points I want to make sure I can compensate.

A) Dodge is the only stat of the main three mit/avoidance that DOES NOT generate RAGE. Hitting your target also generates rage. Rage formulae... dont know. BLocking and Parrying a hit generates a lot of rage. Being hit in general generates a lot of rage.

B) I havent seen a mod that works properly. IF you find one let us all know. lol

You generate a small amount of Rage every time you Dodge, and a higher amount of Rage every time you Parry. I'm pretty sure they're fixed values but I could be wrong.

Block is just like getting hit normally, except for the bonus Rage you might get off the Shield Block talent in Prot.

No rage from a dodge actually, RP. I was fairly certain from my experience as a tank that you didn't get any, but I just tested it in game in case I've been wrong all this time. You get nothing from it. Parry you do, but it's REALLY from the sped up attack. Still though, you may as well consider that rage gen from the parry itself. Pretty sure you're correct about how block rage mechanics work, though.

Hmm. I might be thinking of what happens when you get parried or dodged. I'll ***** around with it later.
