Set bonuses and me...Follow

So, I've been beating my head on a wall for a while thinking of set bonuses. Honestly I love them, and I've had a hard time parting with them. I honestly don't know if they are worth it or not. I know spellstrike procs quite often. I also have the T4 set bonus (Shadow+Flame). This T4 set bonus is what my question is really about. Do you like it?? What pieces would get you to replace it??(In my case I get it from the T4 gloves+shoulders).

If you decided to armory me ignore some of the gear, its my "crit" gear for trash. For bosses raid buffed, I'm at 10.9k stam, about 9.5k int, 1250 spell damage, 203 hit, 20% crit and I still get my two bonueses from spellstrike and T4. I've been saving my DKP for idk what, I passed the T5 shoulders because I didn't want to part with the T4 set bonus. Did I do the right thing?? Doesn't matter really they will drop again, but in my eyes the T5 is not so much better than the T4 and its bonus. The more my guild gets into T5, the more I'm noticing how important Stam is, can't dps if you're dead... I'd be willing to part with my spellstrike hood ONLY for the Cowl of The grand Engineer from Void..Then I'd can replace the pants with perhaps a badge item, I'd lose the set bonus, but I'd gain much needed stam.

So, how do you like the set bonuses?? Am I being too stubborn?? Is my mind playing tricks on me, they seem to be up every other fight. T5+ raiding locks, what do you think????

Hmmm.... probably the point is that as you get further along, you will have better equipment. If you fix yourself with several items (that is, don't change them), that means you are potentially passing by improvements on 5 slots...

As a rule of thumb, I'd say that each Tier is about the best equipment available on their range. That is, if you are on kara, Gruul and Mag, then T4 is about the best equipment, give or take a few variations. But if you start SSC and TK, then you will see items better than T4 and you probably should aim for T5 (also depends a bit on your talents).

As for myself, I currently have still 4 T4 pieces, but hope to get Shoulders and pants asap, and as soon as the new badges items become available on my server, I'll kiss my chest goodbye.

check here. look for your spec (or closest thing to it), then look through for how much X setbonus is worth in +dmg, so telling you how much you need to gain before its worthwhile loosing said setbonus.
