If this rogue respecs to combat and gets some more better equipment with hit rating so that the chances of dodges or misses are reduced then he could be better i suppose other than that his power is good enough he should get a better thrown weapon

Hey guys, I knew a rogue named Stabbymcstabs and he was a great DPS. Was able to pull aggro every fight and everything.

Beats me, seeing as two of my 70's are post-BC (lock's only been 70 since july) and the lock has 10k hk's and the rogue is over 5k.

This is where you call him a scrub, gkick him and find a rogue that knows how to play.

I thought this was answered above, but if not... the Opportunist gear is rep PVP gear, not honor point.

As for the OH and the Shoulders, those aren't hard to come by. I've got the gloves and the OH with only 1613 HKs, while his is (now) showing 2002.

Conversely, you've then got toons like my priest, which has 13k+ HKs and 1 piece of S1 gear.

Quite common actually. When i'm in BG's its like I have a sign on my back saying "victim here" and a bag of gold in my teeth. Without fail i'll be surrounded by rogues re-enacting a scene from Shaun of the dead.

Nah, pretty sure it would be a rogue that didn't know how to play sub spec.

In other news, I topped DPS on Mag the other night as ShS spec over an enhancement shaman in T6, two locks in T6, and a mage in T6.

ShS in T4 gear. /flex

WWS or it didn't happen.

Were you clicking? Were they? There's absolutely no way you could beat out a T6 warlock unless they did the whole fight naked, especially as ShS.

They were clicking. (Well, the mage wasn't...)

I was still ahead of everyone at the end of the night, including all of Gruul.

We don't WWS stuff that we randomly PuG with people in the guild. This just comes from one of the T6 raiders who was keeping his DPS meters up, and corroborated at the end of the night by one or two of the healers.

It was like, "WTF, is that Korz that's #1 on total DPS?"

"Yeah, I see it too. WTF."

Edit: Closest behind me was only off by ~15k damage, so literally about 0.1%.

That leads me to question exactly how much your T6 DPSers had to drink before they started raiding. That's not so much a testament to your skill as it is an indicator of their apathy.

That or I was putting up ~1300 DPS as ShS.

Keep in mind this is all other people telling me this stuff, I don't care nor did I care, otherwise I'd have specced combat. I really just went for the badges (I'm a loot ***** when it comes to badges), and because they needed actual decent DPS instead of alts in greens.

Actually Theo is right about the dps. I tested this ALOT with a enhancement shammy(full t6). I barely beated him on dps in a full Kara run.And this shammy is rly good. My equip is about the t4 lines too.

The thing is we are still the best single target dps in the game if we play our cards right.

Dunno about mages or other classes but i tend to think that sooner or later they are having mana problems at bosses(classes that use mana i mean).

Was at 0,1% better than a 3/5 t6 warr in a ZA run(not full only 4 bosses); but maybe the guy was slacking.

1) you have infinite dps potential, as opposed to a mana-dependent caster.

2) you have threat reduction talents and aggro wipe abilities. warriors can spec into passive threat reduction (and iirc shammies can also) but our only aggro wipe is death.

anyway, back to this rogue. he made another appearance last night. two of my guildies pugged a kara last night and made the mistake of not gearchecking him before inviting him into the raid. i don't know 100% of the details, but i was told that the kid put out poor dps again, and wiped the raid once or twice. afaik they booted him after they downed attumen, so he got upset and didn't want to leave the instance, thus locking one member of the raid out (i found all of this out because i ran into one of my guildies in front of kara). i tried talking to the kid, but he wouldn't leave. eventually, the raid leader coaxed him out by telling him that if he could beat a member of the raid in a duel, they would think about letting him back in. he exited the instance to duel a boomkin and got wtfpwned XD then they all went back into kara and left this nub to cry at the gates.
