Arena advice.gear,talents and moreFollow

I am MM/SV and i have an 2v2 arena team with another MM hunter and a feral druid..Blackout is our battleground..
But we can't raise our rating more to 1600..We are good pvp players, not something special but with decent gear and experience.I know that in 1500 rating you see more often now teams with full S3 gear..At least in our battleground,,
But i am wondering if something else is the problem..
Maybe my talents or my gear or that 2 hunters(or hunter/feral druid) arent the best combination in 2v2 teams..Dont know but i strongly believed that we deserved a better rating..Any suggestion?link to my armory http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Doomhammer&n=Levakis

in 2v2 you have to largely out-last or burt-dps your opponents.

My roomate and I will rock the bg's all day long with our 2 hunters, whatever spec we roll, but that's with lots of support. 2v2 has developed into having the right combo.

1 MM/SV (drain) hunter an 1 Resto Druid is a potentially top ranking team atm, but if you are doing double dps, you need to be able to reliably CC and control the enemy team, whether that's with traps, stunlocks, fears, sheeps, etc. or by killing one off the bat. Other classes can do this more easily than hunters, though a hunter duo is not out of the question.

If you and your hunter friend can scatter - trap consecutively and down 1 enemy player during this limited cc period, then your team will work great. ... but there's lots of ways to get out of cc. Silencing shot is a ***** when fighting casters/healers. A wyvern sting can help, but there's lots of ways to break that too. BM has decent burst dps and offers immunity to CC, though LoS is still a huge issue and higher ranked teams will be able to use it effectively against you.

Your team isn't the most popular combo at the moment, but if you like your teammates, stick with them and work out a good combo.. Maybe even pick up more members and try 3v3 and 5v5. Remember, wow is FUN!

Any combination of 2 hunters and a feral druid wont be a great composition.
If you could get your druid to respec to resto, you suddenly have a really good comp ;)

this would be the cookie cutter build for 2v2 arena with a healer.
If you play with another dps, something like this would probably be more effective...

Hmm the BM cookie cutter build is nice indeed.I was BM for a long time. But the win button isnt any more the win button in arenas..Many other classes have learned about it and they find ways to deal it..Bubble,vanish,shield and many more..
I must find ways to deal with resto druids..And the win button isnt one of them..At least in my opinion.Ok BM hunters do a lot of burst dmg but they also died easily..If we use the win button and in that 18 sec we dont kill at least 1 player we are doomed!!

Its pretty much do or die with BM yeah, the burst damage is insane and you're nearly unstoppable for those 18 seconds.
But its also all you've got.

So i think the best is to tell to druid to change to resto as you said before.
But is up to him..Maybe he dont like the healing style of playing..Who can blame him! We all yelling for healers but no of us really want to became one..
