mayhem projection goggles were up on the AH for 10k, and were sold for 7k to a private bidder.

Mayhem are DPS goggles, he was looking for tank goggles, that drops off Sunwell trash and you need the tankatronic goggles as they are a required material

they're around the same item level. i don't see why the plans/schematics for the tanking goggles wouldn't sell for the same amount of money.

it really depends on your market though. My server I saw the elemental shaman ones on the AH for only 3k gold. We have at least 4 sunwell guilds though.
