AP vs hit gem questionFollow
Question - I just picked up T4 Helm and these. Right now in pve gear (before switching these in for S3 Helm and S1 Shoulders) I'm at around 1650 AP and 200 +hit, 30% crit with raid buffs. I was leaning towards gemming for AP, as I'll get a decent +hit upgrade. What are your thoughts?
Looks like you've already been gemming everything with +AP, minus one gem with +hit... I would think, do you really need all those AP gems? But then again, I have no clue what I'm talking about, so let me do more research and I'll get back to you.
(note: I don't mean to sound sarcastic. I really am going to look stuff up for you and see what'd be better... =D )

I'm retarded when it comes to the numbers. I don't know if there is an unspoken hitcap for kara. I don't notice too many misses, although I do notice dodges due to lack of expertise. If getting hit up to +250 in Kara is better than another 50-60 AP, then that's the route I'll take.

Rogue gemming for raiding:
Red socket - 4agi/4hit
Yellow socket - 8hit
Blue socket - 8hit, or 4agi/5sta to activate RED
Red socket - 4agi/4hit
Yellow socket - 8hit
Blue socket - 8hit, or 4agi/5sta to activate RED
I think there might even be a 5agi/5hit gem according to the elitist site's rogue thingy.

there is a 5agi/5hit and a 10hit, but both gems are epic and will cost 500g+(on my server anyway)

Once the new badge vendor is unlocked on your server, you should be able to purchase epic quality gems with badges.
