I read in arena forums that hunters should send their pet to the healer so he cant drink..Sorry for my ignorance but i believed that we couldnt drink in arana games.Does anyone knows if we can drink mana in arena?And if so what mana drinks are that?
And something else..now that arena games have become drain mana games is it a good idea to spent more talents points into improved stings?

You can drink in Arena (at least when you are out of combat).
You cannot drink the normal water and potions.
However two things work in arena:
- the summoned water / manna biscuits from mages
- the pvp water which you can buy for a few silver and 2 honor per 5 at your pvp vendor (some of those guys selling you gear for honor points).
Improved stings is a nice talent for PvP. I'd recommend to spec for it if you focus on PvP.

This is true. The water that Mulgrin is talking about is Star's Tears.
Also, If I recall correctly, you cannot Eat/drink while shadowmelding, so you have to drink before you shadowmeld. Not entirely sure though.

To drink:
You can't have any dots applied to your hunter.
Your other teammates should be at close to full hp and not in danger of dying.
You and your pet must be out of combat.
Therefore, I prefer to viper sting someone, pull back my pet and feign. Then run behind a pillar, send in the pet, drink, shadowmeld, run back in before my teammates need me.
To shadowmeld while drinking, you have to drink first, then shadowmeld.
Be VERY sure your teammate won't need you immediately before you run away to drink.
Put up Aspect of the Viper before you start to drink.
