Pendant of Might (QQ)Follow

Does anyone know if there's any hope the Scryer version of the Shattered Sun Pendant of Might will be fixed soon?

Looks like it's way worse than the Aldor one. And it's bugged because it procs while sapping. I've read it will be fixed "in a future patch", but when will that be?

Blame me for choosing Scryer and for QQ-ing about a welfare epic, but I find it annoying Aldors get an excellent piece of gear and Scryers get a piece of $#!^. Why Blizz why.

Scry moar!

...er, seriously though, it really does need a fix. With the proc working as it does it makes the necklace almost unuseable.

What does it do exactly? Is it worth getting or should I just keep my badge necklace?

Aldor: can proc on hit to give 200AP/10s

Scryer: can proc on hit to do some Arcane Strike for 350-400 damage (can crit).

The Scryer proc can be resisted, parried, blocked, dodged. I've heard this is also a bug, which would mean this one item has two bugs. :)

If you're Aldor: use this Pendant.
If you're Scryer: keep the Choker, at least until the Pendant is bug-free.

Can I QQ too? Scryers get nice legs, and aldors dont.

/QQ

And I'm sure they'll probably do another patch soon since there's still quite a few bugs

That's hilarious (in a sad way) that it procs while sapping.

Reminds me of a buff you can spellsteal in Magister's Terrace that procs 1200 arcane damage. Basically I stole it and immediately tried to sheep the mob I took it from, and 1200 damage procced and broke the sheep. Thankfully I was able to chain-sheep the guy fast enough to keep him locked down, but for a moment I was a bit worried.

Anyone know if this is fixed? Don't have a viable PvP neck yet, using worgen claw neck...I'm planning on keeping the claw for pve and the PoM for PvP until I get the badges...what are your thoughts?

Even for Scryers, this is better than Worgen Claw, Thomas.

I'm unaware if it's been fixed, however I've never had it blocked, parried, or dodged.

Or had it proc on Sap.

Very nice pendant, procs every 45secs.

Thanks! Also - I had it on last night, wasn't paying attention to the procs...is it audible or visual?

Also picked up the hourglass running some friends thru BM :)

Spreadsheet puts it at -1.54 dps while fully raid buffed compared to the choker of vile intent (Badge necklace).

Not a big difference, but a difference nonetheless.

I initially felt ripped off by the scryer version ...

And then I read up on it.

The attack hits for 350+, can crit for 700+, crits as often as a melee attack, and most importantly - IS NOT MITIGATED by armor.

Someone did the math and found that unless you're combat swords w/ very good gear in a raid setting w/ slice n' dice up, the Scryer one is actually BETTER.

FTFY

And yeah, that. There are nicer pants but I'm just mainly saying about the whole part that aldor doesn't get any leggings to upgrade to (for the time being) until they get better leggings (or able to afford them).

Doesn't bother me though. Just being silly =P

Aldriana's spreadsheet drops is by about the same for me.

Aldor is overall the better choice.

Epic Sword, which granted can be replaced, but it's a good start and much better then the scryer dagger.

Better shoulder Enchant.

And with SSO, a better necklace... the Aldor necklace is better then the badge necklace, the Scryer necklace is worse.

The rest of the rep reward is a wash anyway, you'll quickly outgrow it once you hit 70.

I have to say, the aldor proc owns, everytime i look at my buffs its up lol

Both, there is a sound and visual effect when proc.

Anyway mine did crit like 833 before, not so much drop in DPS compared to worgen I used to wear. But frankly speaking, WTF blizzard thinking!! I want aldor proc Zzzz.. 11% miss, 2% mitigated..

Yep, pretty jealous of you guys that actually looked at rewards when they chose one of the factions to join.
