On my server, it has always been called DM, and so was Dire Maul. Maybe a little confusing, but everyone did it :P
About the run tho, it came to my attention, while leveling an alt, that Blizz has made a lot of pre-tbc instances a lot easier. I remember some instances being very hard on my hunter, even with a full good geared grp. On my priest tho, I ran SM with 4, with a warlock pet tanking and me healing (as a spriest).
I don't think that's a good thing, because a lot of players that start with WoW, used to learn in instances, that you would need a good tank and a good healer in order to survive and you would actually need to L2P, otherwise you just kept wiping. Nowadays however, it's possible to complete an instance without all that. Once they hit Outlands, it's gonna be a whole new experience for them to actually need a good group and to pay attention in order to complete something.
