Hey all, I was reading somewhere that on the netherspite fight, if you put up amplify curse and curse of doom at the end of the phase where you are standing in the blue beam, then it will hit for about 5% of his health. Has anyone tried this? I'm going to have our guild's warlock try it on our next run but was curious to see if anyone knew if it worked.

yeah it will. also if at the end of the blue beam you put up your dots they'll tick for like 1.5-2k each. 40k CoD are more than possible
My best screenie is 45k, think I've gotten closer to 50k though.
I don't like curse of doom but with 50 stacks/cos/trinket I can get 17k normal dmg shadowbolts and 27-30k crits always smiles when you take 3-4% health in 1 bolt
On a mostly unrelated note, I like to Shadow Word: Death at about 2%. My record so far is critting myself for about 39900.

Whats the point of keeping up CoS when theres 1 second left (and you wont be getting off another SB) when you can just put down CoD at the very end.
Cause CoD is going to pop in that time, right?
