I am 7 badges away from the stoic chest and I'm making the decision: go for the 2.3 chestguard of the stoic guardian or just save a little more up for the warrior 2.4 chest or the spelldamage 2.4 chest.
CAn i get your opinions on this and also opinions on my gem slots and itemization? I have ALOT of blue tanking gear on the side that i use depending on fights to choose from. including dawnstone crab, dabyries enigma the Sun Eater (although dont know if i'll ever use that over the spelldamage weapon) and much more. Even wayward shield. So any gear substitutions you suggest would greatly be appreciated! Thank you!

At your current gear level, I'd go for the 2.3 chest, then the 2.4 pants.
Short answer:
2.3 chest + 2.4 pants = MT set
2.4 chest + 2.3 pants = AoE trash tanking set
As to the rest of your gear, while you're uncrut/uncrush, most of your mitigation is through block rating. What you want to be doing eventually is to get your dodge higher. You won't take any damage at all from getting hit; as opposed to blocking 301 damage on a 5k hit. 16.76% is a tad low; personally, I try to stay above 22%, and am currently at 25%.
If possible, farm Laj in the Botanica for your Righteous Spaulders. :)

With your gear uncrushable should be a priority, so I would go for max avoidance,
Chestguard of Stoic Guardian - 3.48%
Chestplate of Stoicism - 5.20%
Shattrath Protector's Chestplate - 1.84
However I would personally get the 2.3 chest, as on my server at least 2.4 badge loot is a long way off yet.
