Pally must have?Follow

Quick question for you guys.

I am almost 70 now and my gear is pretty much all your typical green gear (couple pieces I am still trying to change out yet before I move onto bigger and better gear).

I was wondering what you guys would consider as a must have piece for protection spec'd Paladin. Just looking at what I should concentrate on first to improve my lot in life.

Go here and read. As you scroll down there is a gear check list that is as complete as any I've seen on line. There is also a ton of info on "how to be a great tank" even if you've had too much rum............. "hick"

Get the Felsteel set (Blacksmith) and Cloak of Eternity (Tailoring). Those are items you can get immediately. Then, work the drop, quest, rep list in sticky.

I'm at work and can't check your armory, so i apologize if I'm telling you an item you already have.

Do whatever it takes to get 15 badges for your Libram of Repentance. It goes a long way towards your uncrushability.

Spam them SSO dailies and grab your badges for the libram without stepping foot into a raid/heroic!

:D

Not only that, but the SSO dailies will get you two AWESOME shields...

The Dawnforge is a slight upgrade from Nightbane's shield in Kara, and the Crest is a better itemized cross-grade from it that will go a long way for threat :D

Great advice though I am having one issue with it at the moment. The drop rate on this is bad. Considering I can only do two of the quests giving a sapply bag a day until I get a flying mount to do the other 2 this is going to take some time. 1 badge so far on 14 completed quests.

(Actually I found a way to get to the flying only area in Blade's Edge)

Unless I am missing something here.

EDIT:
My stupidity is getting me no where. Please ignore what was previously posted here.

Hmmm....I think I might be wrong. Getting conflicting information and I don't know anyone who is exalted that can provide the info to me.

Edit:
Needed to read a whole lot deeper into the thread I found to realise that someone was making a suggestion and asking for opinions on a concept.
