Idea for new spell.Follow

#1 Apr 07 2008 at 3:08 PM Rating: Decent
What do you think of this.... another seal, when judged... has a chance on hit to cause xx amount of damage to the target of the judgement, would be like judgement of light, but instead of giving life, causes damage to that enemie. So, on a side note, others could proc it as well.

I`m betting others have mentioned this tho. Just thought of it.

however, I have no clue what the seal would do when on the pally.

It would make pallies stop QQing about needing more judgments when they already have 2 of the most useful raid debuffs in the entire game.

We QQ about needing more Judgements? No, we QQ about needing a reason for Rets to be used and not laughed at by even our own kind, and many of the ideas that have been brought up have been in the form of a new Seal and/or change to that system. That's not the answer imo.

Problem solved. . . . . /sigh

The problem isn't the deficiencies of the Ret build.

The problem is the deficiencies of so many of the players who run around proclaiming a Ret build is the best thing since a multi-celled organism, and then fail to perform. There are Ret pallies out there who can and do perform very well with the build, but the average ret pally just absolutely sucks at it.

It's the same reason that the Hunter class often gets called Huntards. Sure, there are several hunters out there who can push 1800+ DPS, but the average hunter that most people run in to (and especially the ones that are so bad to remember) they play far, far, FAR worse.

There are already plenty of reasons to use a ret pally. The main reason people don't is because they're afraid of getting a crappy player.

He's always got a raid spot with us whenever he signs up. Just because YOUR ret pallies suck, doesn't mean ALL of them struggle in a raid. He puts up middle of the pack DPS, but damn does he make himself useful.
