My prot pally is about 60% of the way from 59 to 60.

I'm still going strong in Azeroth, and haven't even hit up anytihng in either Plagueland yet.

But I can hear that siren call of Hellfire Peninsula. I can taste the phat loots from those first few quests in HFP and I can smell the awesome drops and quest rewards from Ramparts and Blood Furnace.

I can't wait to get to 60 and jump feet first into Outland with my first char that has a solid plan on getting to 70 that I will absolutely stick to.

I want to kill fel orcs and demon boars. I want to tank the dragon in Ramparts.

I just can't wait.

But I have to. It's all part of the plan.

Anyway, I'm going back to leveling. There's a level 60 ding and a Summon Charger spell with my name on it tonight....

Edit: DING! Level 60!!! Already took a boosted run through Ramparts too. Me, few low 60s DPS, and a 70 priest went through in about 25 minutes. Even got the pally chest piece off the first boss.

Congrats. I hope your not on a PvP server. Keep an eye on the skies if you are.

Gratz on lvl 60. Did you get your Charger?

One of the coolest things I remember from first hitting Outland was the bombing run. You're gonna love it!!! It'll make you drool for your flying mount.

Check the sig, I already have 3 level 70 chars.

My rogue already has his epic flyer, which makes me cry every time I have to ride either my shaman's or my warrior's regular flyer.

Yes I'm on a PVP server, but we don't seem to get nearly as much world PVP in HfP as I've heard others complain about.

I'm gonna grind Ramparts and Blood Furnace for a while to build up some rep and grind out 1-2 levels before I start any of the HfP quests.

lol - I've never seen anyone so excited to hit Outland ..... for the 4th time. I just figured it was your first because you were so psyched.

Either way, enjoy, and have fun.

I think I'm so psyched because none of my other characters were as fun to level as this guy. (yes I just said that a pally I leveled as prot from 1-60 was fun to level, maybe I'm just masochistic)

As I said, I also have a plan for this guy. My goal was to get to 60 without going to Outland. Since I created the char I have been checking the AH religiously for lvl 57-60 Outland greens for him, either "of the Champion" or "of the Sorcerer". I managed to put together a complete set that gives him something like 5700 HP, 4k mana, and 70 spell damage unbuffed to tank in, and I can swap out a few pieces for 1k more mana and about 60 more spell damage for when I need to grindc quest mobs.

The next part of my plan for him involves running Ramparts and Blood Furnace until he's honored with Thrallmar, THEN do all of the quests. I figure this should easily get him to revered and at least level 63 (hopefully 64) before leaving HfP.

Once I am done with HfP, I should be more than reasdy to run Slave Pens and Underbog before doing any of the Zangarmarsh quests. I figure if I run all of a factions instances before doing any of their quests I will be way ahead of the rep game.

Also I just love his name "Armato", which is Italian for "armored" or "tank".

Edit: Thanks for the catch there. My fingers get ahead of my brain sometimes. Well, actually, I think the sig explains it all. LOL

Um, what? :P

I'm planning on doing more or less the same thing with my mage. I have a guildy who has a warrior about to hit Outlands, and we're planning to spam the hell out of the instances to give ourselves a head start in the rep race.

The oddest thought occurred in my mind when I read that title... "I can taste it..." with that lustful triple dot.

Anyways, grats! I know what you mean by a pally being fun to level with, my 32 prot pally is really fun and I don't even have divine shield, seal/judgement of wisdom, holy shield or ardent defender yet. Can't wait to get those heh. Grats once again.
