I was just curious how people felt about there spell haste, and if they have played around a lot with there gear.
As my Spell haste goes up, spell hit gets harder to keep, and spell crit hits rock bottom.

i raid as frost, i currently have 180spell haste, 118spellhit, 1077dmg and only crit about 1/4 the time. Its tempting to start getting rid of my haste gear that i fell in love with and get a lil more dmg and a lot more crit gear. And if i raid as fire again, i really need the crit.
I've read that it goes, hit/haste/dmg/crit
but to what extremes, if anyone has found or heard anything usefull it would be great to get some other mages opionons.

Actually, your spell hit is fine for a frost mage(only 8 below cap, so respectable). And your crit, while it could stand to be better, isn't too bad.
I wouldn't give up much more damage, crit or hit for much more haste, but I think what you have is fine.

where do I find the value for Spell Haste in the character screen? I've found Haste under the Melee/Ranged sections yet I suspect this is not Spell haste.

It's now under spells. I'm not sure if they've updated the armory to reflect this yet, though.
