Please help. Does Heavy Jade Ring (+6 crit rating) also affect your spell crit rating?

Oh. How do the tooltips for items distinguish between spell and non-spell crit modifiers? Does it explictily have to say "+spell crit"?

Then, when you're completely locked into that mindset, something comes along and throws you for a loop and affects spell criticals without actually saying spell critical.

Granted, it's not spell critical rating. But it's still kind of an interesting exception.
