So I suspended my account last september and just started back up. I am noticing that much has changed and I feel like a noob again.

I have been trying to catch back up with all the changes but searching seven months of changes is taking way too long. if you guys could just hit me with the highlights and must knows I would appreciate it.

I've been to kara a few times and am muti speccd. name is Dayn on Cenarius if you wanna check out my gear and specc. any suggestions there would be appreciated as well. and please be gentle. thank you.

The last 8 months in summary.

patch 2.3- Sub tree receives numerous buffs, making Hemo/AR/prep the most powerful pvp spec, having better burst damage than full combat + better mobility + better stealth = huge buff to rogues as a class. Rogues (specced HARP) become uber-powerful in the arena. Every non-rogue cries.

patch 2.3.2- (x.x.1 always reserved for emergencies) rogues severely beaten about the head and neck with the nerf bat. AR is taken off of prep, and hemo is nerfed. Rogues cry. Non-rogues laugh. HARP is dead, and the dominant pvp spec becomes Shadowstep, 20/0/41 or some variant.

January- Dask scientifically demonstrates a stealth bug, in which stealth can be broken with no action taken against the rogue. Something about "combat packets" which I think are pings by mobs, sensing if there is anything to aggro. Many rogues confirm that they can recreate the Dask experiment, and stealth is demonstrably borked. Despite a HUGE rogue uproar, Blizzard is silent for a whole week.
After a week of Blizz silence, rogues go apesh1t. We organize a "revolt" in which every rogue at 12:00 EST would post their own thread about stealth in the bug forum. The bug forum becomes a beautiful sight. I entertain myself by continuously bumping the 100+ stealth threads in the bug forum. Raeli posts ~12 threads cursing out Blizz in various languages, thanks to babelfish.com.
Hortus finally answers, saying they are fixing it. A large number or rogues get banned (for 1-7 days) for the spamming incident. Hortus' response thread is in my sig. None of we dissenters could post, we were all banned at the time.

February- a portion of the problem with stealth seems to be fixed.

February-March- A number of big name rogues retire from WoW including Buddhist and Raelie. Even Xasha goes inactive. Some of them promise to come back for season 4, and WotLK for certain. Blizz buffs mutilate, but few people seem to care.

April- Theophany promotes himself to Overlord Theophany. Begins annexing small European countries in the hopes that no one will notice. No one notices.

May- World War III.

History is in the eyes of the beholder. I can tell a history in the present tense if I want to!
