Can pvp successfuly in pve gear?

So you do raids what for? To get into better raids, you say. What if you got full T6 + MT epics + warglaives maybe? Where do you pve then? Nowhere, except if you want to help guildies. "I'll go to arenas. Oh, wait, I need pvp gear first".

You can do either content in either gear, but don't expect to do well in gear that doesn't match the demand. For arena you need resilience, for raids you need hit. You'll probably be able to beat other people in arena not wearing arena/bg gear with little problem if you've really seen that much endgame content, but teams that earned arena gear and have been there awhile are gonna hand it to you.

Tier tokens can now be turned in for Gladiator gear. T4, t5 or t6 can be turned into s1 or s2, respectively. So stop qqing. If you don't have time for both, pick which one you like most.

Edited to include Devzzz's correction.

What did you just write? Tier tokens can be exchanged into season gear? Where can I do that? Which patch version introduced that?

The only pvp gear I have would be my offhand and thrown weapons, I have a res. of maybe 35. I don't do arena just the bg's and I usually do pretty well. The one thing I've noticed lately though is my kills have gone down but my damage has gone up. That doesn't really bother me though because if the team wins than you win.

Yes you can. Resilience does not mean everything. I have 400, and only decreases chance of being crit by 10%. That means if they have 30 %, they still have 20 % to do so.

Only decreases periodic damage by like 5 % and damage by crits by 15 %. If they crit a 2000, they will crit a 1700. Still matters.

You cannot get s3 gear from tokens.
