Druid LW choice Tribal/Elemental?Follow

Hi,
I have combed the various links and threads but unless I am being really stupid (very possible) I can't find a definite answer to this question.
As a levelling feral druid (who expects to stay feral at 70 - currently 46) and a Leatherworker, would it be better to take tribal or elemental leatherworking?
I am up to 246LW at the moment, so I think I need to make a choice soon.

All the places that I have seen advice suggest tribal for a druid, but the gear seems to be aimed at healers - whereas I usually kitty dps or occasionally tank (I have a guy I regularly pair up with who is a resto druid so I almost never heal). The elemental gear seems much better for me - but the advice I have seen recommends this for rogues not druids.

Am I missing something that would make tribal much better for me?

If anyone has an opinion please let me know.
Am I worrying about something that doesn't matter? Or missing a thread that answers all my questions (in which case please flame me)?

Thanks for your time.

Tribal LW is for Moonkin/Resto druids. Elemental is for rogues, although feral druids can get some use out of it, more now that Heart of the Wild affects AP instead of Str.

I too am a LW on my Druid. I chose Elemental, as I tend to to stay in kitty while questing/leveling, shifting to bear when I get adds, or a particularly tough opponent.

In my experience, once you hit Outlands level, there is a veritable plethora of gear choices; making LWing more for kits, and/or specific pieces to fulfill certain roles.

As a Druid, I find it useful to have 3 different sets of gear; healing, tanking, DPS. LWing can assist you in filling some of these gear choices, without a lot of money spent in the AH.

In essence, if you're of the mind to stay Feral at 70, I think that the choice of specialties in LWing is not terribly important, at least in my experience.

Hope this was helpful in some sense.

Thank you.
That has cleared up the worries I had - I will go with elemental in case I get some use out of the gear I make while I level.

Don't forget that you can change you mind later without losing your skill points or any non-specific patterns you might have learned.

I chose elemental...The Primal Intent set is a nice 3 piece dps set. Outside of that I really haven't used the branch for anything else.

Thank you again guys, it seems that I was unduly worried about making a bad, irreversible decision.
Now I can relax, hope I get some use from my choice and carry on rushing to Outlands
