I'll go first.
I was in AB with my twink rogue, I am not the type to farm killing-blows, but rather to play with strategy. Thus I defend nodes and really only go on the offense when we are down on nodes 2-3.
So I'm the lone defender at the farm (which I'm ok with, as I can take groups of 2 and sometimes 3), calling out incomings, and checking the map to see what needs more defense (and voicing my opinion as such), when I get a whisper "Quit spamming BG chat, you can talk when you top the charts."
Where did this come from? Turns out it was from a twink shaman. After further inquiry into the AB charts, he was #3 on KB's and I was in 4th with 2 less than him. I returned the whisper by explaining that I wasn't in the process of farming KB's but rather trying to use strategy to win the game. His reply was something like "whatever, you suck! You have no skill" and "Quit whining about defense, You suck at PvP I think you try PvE!"
Moments later the game was over and I didn't have the opportunity to inquire any further, but I did notice that while I had only 13 killing blows I had only 2 deaths and defended 3 flags, while my august friend had 19 killing blows with 15 deaths and no flags captured or defended.
Hmmm........
So that's why I suck at PvP, because I defend rather than turtle, and play to win rather than farm kills.
Now I want to know why YOU suck at PvP!

I suck at PvP ever since I gave up caffeine. Now I'm slower than a turtle on heroin.
I still have trouble taking on groups of 3 while defending nodes...
Because I'm from an RP server.

Because I thought I could join a 1800 rating team for 5v5 with 0 resilience and spec'd 20/21/20 lol.

Because my 29 twink doesn't have the AGM, Deadman's ring, or Naga bow.

Because I have 91 resilience/7.9k hp, 3 days played and my rogue is an alt, not a main.
Beacause i dont know what strategy to use against differnt classes. Mouse turning and key-binding moves to my mouse and using Shift modifiers really improved my PvPness though. Oh also i just use deadly/crip poison, Never anything else for PvP..dunno why.
Because I don't have S3 weapons or shoulders.
I suck because I begrudgingly realized that gear>skill, and began playing TF2 = no gear.

I suck at PvP because my teammates suck at PvP. Heh.
Also, having a PvE build adds to that.
On a more serious note, I think rogues generally suck in arenas. I've been playing some 3x3 and 2x2 (you know, 10 times a week), and I almost never meet rogue opponents. That must mean something.
Once we met a 2 rogue team - they were the easiest team to beat I ever saw.

probably cuz most of them are better than 1400s.
I suck at pvp because out where I live im stuck using dialup.... /sigh
I suck at PVP cause well I suck at PVP.
As soon as I figure out how to properly stun lock someone I will still suck but a little less.

Heh, my brother srill runs on dialup, and he's got the full s1 set from bg's now.
In my opinion though, dialup is less troublesome than a flat-out crappy system like mine.

Naw, its just I was always under the impression that as you got higher in the brackets it requires more skill. Not that it means alot...

I'm the shaman in the story, running into bases alone, dying a lot...But i almost always top dmg done and most of the time top KB's. no, i dont farm them, but i end up with more flag caps than anyone else too, cuz i go for the least defended nodes. If i go with ppl tho i can sometimes get NO flag caps, end up top on dmg, and top on deaths cuz i cant heal myself and alliance backup comes and kills me while im low while my friends are there to defend the flag. i yell at ppl a lot for ******** at us when they sit at farm...yea thats helpful, sit there doing nothing with the occasional "HALP AT FARMMM!!" i can be working on capping LM and be back to farm before they cap the flag, and in the meantime help my team progress at capping a node.

I suppose I suck at pvp (on my rogue) mainly because when I see some twink running up, with twice my health and shiny glowey stuff, I don't even try to take it out. Rather, I consider the best thing I do to be to delay the guy as long as possible. Sap + another sap + CS + SS + KS, and then after 20 or so seconds of being taken out of the fight (less with trinket) that guy is going to make certain I'm dead, giving another few seconds of resources for us, or stopping the flag carrier getting ganked, or so forth.
Also having even slight latency against an agile opponent means that I'm always just "out of range". Kinda annoying against hunters especially.
