lvl 70 gear ele shamanFollow

Yeah i just switched from Resto to Ele, and ive ended up resorting to PvP for the majority of my gear, the only thing i really dont wanna grind out is the weapon. Sucks big time. Especially when im workin on getting into kara and all the hardwork is gonna be gone in about about 2 weeks after kara.

So basically, PvP is a good, sure option, with out having to resort to percents on drops and PuG grps that really just make you pull your hair out.

Life is relatively easier for Ele Shaman in terms of lvl 70 gearing in the sense that you can use PVP gear for PVE.

The S3 PVP gear is GOOD. You will find yourself using them until u can raid T5/6 content. (Hyjal/BT) Even S1 gear is decent if you don't have enough arena points.

If you go down the list for each item slot, you will realize, PVP gear is viable for Ele shaman, in fact, is better than most other gear until u can raid BT.

There are a few exceptions, like the shield, and rings and trinklets. That's about it.

For those still doing Kara, aim for Illhoof's capacitor and the Prince's mindblade. Those are good stuff that will last u quite a while.

MP5 might be an issue if you do not put any points into the talent that uses your int for MP5 (I recommend 2 to 3 points in that talent). For myself, due to majority of my gear being PVP based (coz my guild is not at Hyjal/BT yet), I use Pots liberally and early for long fights.

Well.. I have respeced from Enchanment to Elemental after i hit 70 few months back and I have been through your stage as in what should I do to get my gear ? PvP and BG is a way to get all those elemantal gear..but it also mean hard grinding on the honor point,token or arena games. The gear for sure is much better but it takes time before you can have it all. As for me, I am not a PvP person. So if you want to farm for your epic gear before you can get any Tier gear, here are some instance that you can work on.

So by farming Heroic instance you can get your gear and extra badges to exchange for much better gear at the Badges Vendor. Thats what I did few months back and until I get gear up only then I have the chance to join guild raid in higher content to get tier gear. Anyway..this is just some sharing as I know that elemental gears for shaman are rare :) enjoy
