Not really no. (atleast not without Shield Block up)

Found this macro over at WoWWiki

It will tell you if you are uncrushable ot not, and also tell how far you are from being it.

/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Need 102.4 combined avoidance. Currently at:",0.8,0.8,1)
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(GetDodgeChance()+GetBlockChance() + GetParryChance() +5+(GetCombatRatingBonus(CR_DEFENSE_SKILL) + 20)*0.04,1,0.5,0)

If you dont have 5/5 anticipation you have to edit the "(CR_DEFENSE_SKILL) + 20)" part to whatever fits.

try to use it both with and without Shield Block.

that is a great macro , that every tank should have. I've been using it since i started tanking and it really does let you fine tune your avoidance / EH kits.

not having 5/5 anticipation ? are you mad !

if your tanking gear hits the 490 mark, sometimes tanks spec out of it to put points in TM or bloodrage.

even though i'm at the 490 point through gear i still put 5/5 in anticipation because point for point it just seems like more of an overall gain

I didnt entirely understand the benefits of the talent when allocating my points... and didnt notice I hadnt picked it up until I was at 490+ anyway.

I probably sould respec for it. 20 Defense Skill is a lot and would let me wear far more TPS statted gear while remaining at/above 490. And (at this point) I dont change stances enough to warrant full TM. The other two points would probably come from 1H Weapon Spec, but I bet I could more than compensate for that extra 4% melee damage if I 86'ed my Felsteel Helm and gloves for something with substantial Hit/Crit/Expertise.

I've been thinking about ditching anticipation my def is plenty high but got stuck being the frost tank for Hydros. So need all the def I can get when I have my resist gear on. I have seen other tanks without it and the way they spec nets them more rage. (yeah I know I wasted 2 points on imp taunt too cheep to respec for that). But I'de drop it for imp hero strike or sunder armor as soon as we are done with SSC.
