I am a Shaman and I want to know if I can self-ressurect. I heard we could but I could not find any source of information on it. Do I need to carry anything to do this? I do not like the corpse runs.

Yes we get a self-rez, it's called Reincarnation: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?wspell=21169. You need an Ank to use the skill, and it's on a 1 hour (50 or 40 minutes with talent points) cooldown.

You will have to run to your corpse, unless you don't die more than once an hour. Anks are also expensive, at 20s a pop regular.

Alternatively you can also acquire the trinket that goes with the Portals Deck, which gives you a 10% chance to self-resurrect on death.

That would be the Darkmoon Card: Twisting Nether.

From what I've read it procs a lot. Read a story about a priest who had it proc twice in a row in an arena match once even.
