Druids, threat and the jelly donutFollow

I almost never use Feint. Actually, I don't even have it keyed or on a toolbar. Normally it's of no use, my regular tank seems very good at keeping a threat lead at all times even if it is only slight sometimes (oh, AR, I do love you so). The only time I use Feint is when pugging with a tank who just repeced or is just terrible. And even then, only rarely.

Until last night that is.

I recently had a huge problem pulling aggro from a druid tank. Such a problem in fact that I bound Feint to a key and used it in my SS rotation! And even that didn't do it. I moved to using Anesthetic Poison (the horror!) and slowing down dps so much that I mostly had a full yellow bar (sin!!!).

Now, I don't usually run with druid tanks. So rarely so that I can only recall once (Slabs run) which seemed fine. I understand that druid tanks are considered on par with warriors and paladins for at least normal 5mans and early raiding. But my question is this: WTF? Is there some trick to druid tanks that I'm clueless on? Some secret technique to dealing with their specific abilities? Am I just über-lame?

Secondly Lemon or raspberry filled jelly donuts?

Thanks in advance for any advice and sorry if this has been covered somewhere that I missed.

Bad tank is bad.

Yeah, you had a bad tank.

Even in T6 where warriors easily outshine druids, my brother sticks hate like he's getting paid to do it.

The only feasible way I could pull threat would be to go balls-out and use AR right off the bat.

And yeah, I've never used Feint in 3 years of being a rogue.

Yea, I use Feint on occasion, just as an ***** I GOTS AGRO! Usually if I hit it right off the tank gets hate back. My normal tanks are perfect, damn good but if I'm not paying attention I can still pull agro every once in a while.

Blueberry filling with little crumbly things on the outside....mmmmmmmmm

Oh, and I agree with everyone else. That particular druid sucked.

Damn. I was, in a way, hoping that the problem was mine. The player's a pretty cool guy. Oh well. At least he's not as bad as the warrior who said "I don't use taunt. It's worthless."

...in heroic Ramps... as the healer died... again.

For the record: Lemon-filled was the decision. And the decision was right.

Thanks for the responses.

That's the use for a thing called Vanish.

You shouldn't be able to pull threat on trash.
