Retri gear is the most neglected of my three specs, but I still pick up scraps that the warriors and such don't want from time to time. Recently, this has been haste gear, namely Belt of Seething Fury from Hyjal and Shoulderplates of Everlasting Pain from MT. Given that these were replacing some crummy blues, I was happy to snap them up, but am unsure how useful they will be if I ever make a serious attempt at going retri.
My Gorehowl is a very slow weapon, which should be great for use with Seal of Command, so assuming the proc rate is unchanged by haste, is a few % of haste worth the potential loss of hit/crit?
As a healbot I have no idea, what do you think?

i think it has to do with how much other stats are you looseing to get that haste. include how you would socket both pieces(old pieces and new ones). and also compare to how much hit/crit you have already. if caped hit and not gonna lose that capped hit with new pieces i think haste is fine not sure on the crit i mean you have some gem slots to play with there. i dont know how much the haste truely helps though. might try asking warrior thread also.
you should also consider the circumstances which you are battling. in a long fight haste will come in handy. in short trash fights haste will be unnoticable.
