wow I actualy forgot that totemic focus also works with fire totems (brain farts)

I like the 2.5 healing wave, I generally use it more then LHW even in pvp, I really only LHW against rogues, I try to squeeze the HW in after dropping grounding totem or after a war stomp, i know its not gonna be as succesful, but it is a bigger heal for just 1 second more casting time, i know a second is big in pvp, and LWH is more reliable, but i can usually pull it off.

But I understand what you mean, i really enjoy this spec for pvp, but I will admit it is quite stressful on mana.

I have never heard a complaint against the 20 minute cool down on our elementals. At 20 mins it's obviously an emergency/solo something powerful spell but I'd like to see it dropped to 15 mins, or even 10 if I could be greedy.
That's just coming from a freshly 68 shaman though :).

I won't try to make up spells since I'm terrible at balancing but a few general things I'd like to see:

Insta druid-like GW, there is no reason not to have this, it'd solve half the problems that i hear about.

An HoT, other than ES which is a nice "smart HoT" but it's a 41 talent. We are the only healing class that doesn't have an innate HoT spell.

Perhaps a talent buff to Lighting shield that adds 12%/25% chance to stun 1-2 seconds.

Add 1-2 seconds to ES silence

Hex, just like the npc trolls have. turns people into frogs for a few seconds.

NPCs also have a earthgrab totem, I like that idea too, but it'd have to be one or the other with Hex though, two CCs might be OP. (Hex seems like more fun). Or hey, just make Stoneclaw work on people too and add 150% health to the totems.

A spell like Lighting on the same cool down, just not nature based.

An upgraded Grounding totem that absorbs 2 (3?) spells or multiple non-damage spells.

With WotLK coming out, I forsee us getting newer versions of the same spells (boring). Instead of a newer mana spring, maybe a mana drain and tranfer totem?

And lastly, something that I'll never get ever ever, but it's my pipe dream. I wanna have a version of stealth were I turn into a rat so i can sneak by certain mobs, but it won't be stepping on the toes of druids/rogues since I'll be visable. I'm a reasonable guy though so I'd settle for a rat that i can control via a channel.

Thanks I totally forgot about that. most of the time I forget Paladins can be main healers too, even though half the ones I see are healers. The Pally in my guild has trained me to equate pally with meat shield. Perhaps a innate HoT would OP? I can just imagine what that could do for my Enhance shaman...

An innate HoT would be nice, but borderline OP in PvP. Despite the fact that Druids and Priests are clearly a cut above Paladins and Shaman when healing in PvP at the moment, it's actually a pretty fine balancing act and even the slightest skill change could upset the balance entirely. We're really just going to have to sit back and wait to see what Blizzard throws at us in WotLK.

Honestly? Paladins don't need an HoT. Well, let me rephrase that, an hot would be great for pvp. But if they were to give it to them for pvp it would further them as the best single target healers. Extremely overpowered for raiding, and the priests that hold tank heal postitions would be extremely pissed.

Just another example of how pvp is ******** with raiding.

Meh, GoTN is something I seldomly use. I only use it on pulls where the tank will be taking damage and needs as much mitigation as possible.

I wish it scaled with +healing. That would be awesome.

Sorry. I was kidding...i figured that was obvious due to the shear suckitude of the spell. I've only ever used it on the MT in Gruul's during the silence...it doesn't help much.

Though I doubt we'll get a Water Elemental (despite the fact that we're the class that actually references "frost" as water), Frost mages have one. That being said, there is ONE more elemental available... being Wind.

Earth Elemental is a pseudo tank
Fire Elemental is a dps "pet"

The only other role left for the last elemental would be one that helps you heal your group. It would be tricky since "healing" for shaman is Nature... but for our totems it is water. I suppose they could just make a healing Wind Elemental since the spells we cast are nature, though it seems a Water elemental would make more sense.

I doubt we'd get a "Lightning" Totem because that's Nature just like Wind. If we were to get a new totem class, it'd be one of the other existing elements (Arcane, Holy, Shadow). Arcane seems the opposite of what a Shaman is... so I'd doubt that, but you never know. Perhaps there will be a Spec-dependent totem. A Holy-type totem for Resto, a Shadow-type totem for Enhancement and/or Elemental, and an arcane one if they want to forego the background of shaman for the other spec.

They would never have a shaman to Holy or Shadow damage. That is not within bounds of the lore. I doubt Arcane myself.

I have been looking eagerly at the wretched on Quel'danas. They have Nether Shock, people... good damage, mana burn. Unfortunately, Arcane...
