Finding a guildFollow

#1 Apr 02 2008 at 9:24 AM Rating: Decent
I don't know if it is me or is finding a raiding guild spot as a tankadin a pain in the ***? I leveled prot. I was in a guild that broke up and have been totally unsuccessful at finding any kind of a spot in a raiding guild for 25 mans (TK and SSC for the gear I have).

Any advice?

And if anyone is recruiting

http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Shadowmoon&n=Wizneer

btw I am going to respec 0/49/12 when I actually start raiding TK and SSC again

I am more then willing to transfer to another server to raid

Slightly off topic, but looking at your armory, are you immune to crushing blows in that gear? Adding up your Avoidance + SB + Libram of Repentance, it seems like you still have ~10% chance to get crushed by a boss unless you have a Redoubt proc. Trying to figure this out, as my Paladin is currently being used for tanking and is approaching 70 / Heroics rather quickly.

Totally immune to crushing blows with holy shield active I have no need for Redoubt to proc to avoid crushing blows. I am +1.3% above cushing blows.

You are forgetting one key component in uncrushability that ive noticed is rarely mentioned. perhaps too obvious? Miss.

defense adds a chance to be missed, ontop of a base 5%. so for the OP his chance to be missed is 11.4, and his total avoidance is 103.72%.

That would be 100% it, and that's why I asked. Thanks for the answer! :-P
