Open thanks!

I wouldn't have done it without all the help I got from these forums.

No teddy, theo, don't get mad.

Zip, I saw you sulking!

And nooble, you can say hi too.

But the reason I put Tyrandor in the topic is because, I haven't seen him on much lately.

Anyway, finally managed to break 2k rating with points and I got my shoulders. I know on my way there I broke a couple bones, and asked a few questions too many, sometimes on the forums, sometimes within the private messaging system(nothing kinky!).

And I got a lot of help from Tyrandor, so this thread is dedicated to him!

Thanks,
devz

Grats Devz, I'm guessing on your 2s?

I'm hoping my brother may take 2s seriously in S4 or that I can get the pally on my 5s to do 2s with me; either that or that we can find a good Lock/Mage for our 5s (warrior/feral/rogue/pally/arcane atm) so we can break 2k in 5s.

But seriously, grats. I have no idea what the ranking of EU BGs is, but it's still an accomplishment to hit 2k.

Actually, I have made some friends with the top PvPrs on my realm, and one of them sorted me out with a priest to come along with me and my mage friend for 3's.

This new priest already had 4/5 S3 and the S3 weapon+OH.

We just started playing together last week, and managed to break 2k once or twice during the time we played, but ended the night with 1970 rating something, after losing to warrior, ele sham and holy pala twice.

Today we had a bad start with 6m wait times, and went all the way down to 17xx rating. A total 6 hours later, we were all the way up at 2008 rating.

I tell you, waiting 6 minutes while pissed off at constantly losing makes a man go insane! The mage said something about needing to buy a new keyboard Smiley: jawdrop .

But thanks a lot for the congratulations!

PS: 2's isn't balanced and can cause madness along with other illnesses if you play a setup like mage/rogue. I tell you, 1 mistake and bam, you lost it! Nowadays the 2v2 is just there for fun, gonna focus on 3v3 hopefully Smiley: smile.

I definitely hear you on 2s.

Basically as the two setups I run, it goes like this:

Feral partner: we see a Lock or Paladin when we're in the 1700s and we're like, "yep, gg guys."

Priest partner: we see one stealth with MotW and Thorns up and we're like, "yep, gg guys."

My priest partner has no idea how to handle druids, and unless the Lock sucks horribly, they can usually lock out my druid for enough time to get him down even with him in bear form.

I'm liking our 5s setup, though. 4 DPS is incredibly fun to play, and I really enjoy the synergy between feral/warrior/rogue. Basically I Premed-CS-EA and then a cloth class is down.

It'd be amazing if my team grabbed an Ele Shaman; WF added to EA and LotP would take down clothies retardedly fast.

Because right now we have an Arcane Mage as our 5th, and he's not got a whole lot of resilience/PvP experience.

The funniest part is that even with our Mage, we still have 1900-ish potential because the other 4 members of our team are so solid in our teamwork and skill.
