Ahhh, make the Rick Rollage stop!
#4 Apr 01 2008 at 9:43 AM Rating: Good
"This one goes up to 11!"
#5 Apr 01 2008 at 9:47 AM Rating: Decent
People who Rick Roll are the internet equivalents of that retarded kid in school. You know, the guy with the snot running out of one nose who kept screaming that "funny joke" while slapping people on the back. Only he was a year too late, and did nothing but annoy every single person he met.

You should feel sad about them, though. Because these people never realize they are retarded. They will go through life, thinking they are funny and intelligent, while the rest of the world looks at them and shakes their collective heads. "Oh poor guy, how immensely stupid do you have to be to think a tie like that is funny?"... "Oh that's just sad. He actually thinks that's what she said is witty!"...

And so on...

Pity these people, because they are even worse off than normal retards. Normal retards have a small hope of actually realizing their lot in life.

Edit: tags owned me.
2nd Edit:

Just had to comment on the Bard Class. Hell yeah! I'd level that to 80 in less than a week. Arch Enemy blasting on my stereo, I'd be shreddin' that axe until Arthas' head exploded. There's way too little headbangin' in WoW.

Epic solo talent failed....

An epic solo needs to be at least 30 seconds long.

You are welcome. Want me to go into excruciating detail about your future sex life too?

Inviting North to flame burn you to cinders and scatter your remains is probably not a good idea.

North, I want to see the worst that you can do.

Edit: If you don't hurry up, you're just convincing me that your flames are from personal experiences, and that you struggle to blot out your emotions while you post.

Inviting me to flame you shows too much "good spirit" to be fun, really. It's no fun to be nasty when you know the other fella is just going to chuckle and go on living without taking it to heart.

It's more fun to devastate people who actually takes it seriously. To mentally witness the froth foaming at the edges of the enraged little ****. To imagine the "tap-tap-tap" as a (intended) furious and righteous response takes shape on their screens. Full of scathing wit and righteous wrath.

The satisfaction brewing within their puny chests when they hit the post button, all the while imagining that now they showed that pesky North who was the big dog in this virtual kennel. Now they would finally be recognized as the awesome avatar of justice and awesomeness that they know they truly are within their gnarly little souls.

And then, I can watch the other regulars of this forum take one look at the moron, and start their own campaigns. Oh, the pleasure when this little **** is exposed as a whiny little ****, all by his own furious post.

The really fun ones actually keeps it going at this point, allowing us all to milk the fellow of all joy in life. How the hell do you expect me to do anything of the sort when the recipient shows self-irony?

Just keep posting. Once you are safely entrenched you will make a bad call. And I'll be there, ready and willing to indulge you. Only then I will be able to extract your impotent rage to fuel my own pleasures, and I will leave a broken shell of a boy.

It's more fun that way. For me, anyway.

Don't worry your little heart out in the slightest, for I plan on carefully reading over every post to make sure that it is informative, gratuitous to the regulars, and unable to be rated to default, unlike my previous posts in this topic. The second option caters to you, North, as you will only be able to look at my posts and say "Wow, this guy really knows how to ruin my fun, I can't flame him, nor can I call him a noob, as the advice given to him to reply normally magically raised his post count higher than mine."

Vague hopes that you will continue.
And i'm watching Death Note :)

Put away the popcorn, Aethien. I am not going to provide any entertainment tonight. He has already overestimated himself, and will only get worse later on. As I said, a Rick Roller will never realize their fate. In a week, this little advice will be forgotten, and fun will be had.

It's already started. Smugness, only slightly marred by the reference to postcounts and rating. Keep posting. You will provide us with entertainment soon enough.

I've been a helpful member of this community, and have only been flamed once before, for not putting sm tags on my sig. That was by North, go figure. I don't expect North to go ballistic over a Rick Roll.

I have to say though, this "battle of wits" doesnt compare to Death Note....

Still, its quite entertaining :)

North, I could have just made a new account, gained a user name that is somewhat intelligent, but lost the accomplishment of 200 posts, and Æthien thinking that I'm witty, but that is the cowards way out. Tell me though: How do you restrain from laughing when you hit post? You must realize that I will not miss the feeling that you can respect me, if I think that there is even a bit of sarcasm in your posts.

North lets out an evil laugh every time he hits the [Post Message] button ;)

And where did i say that i think you are witty?
Battle of wits doesnt mean i consider either of you to be witty.

:(

Edit: I assume that the wit was you sitting on Google translator trying to figure out what was going on in Death Note? That isn't wit, my friend.

Much like Sumo wrestlers competing in what could be called a sport. They may be engaged in the sport but can you really say they are athletes?

You all should be gald you didnt get Rick-Jollystomped, like I did. It was a link to a Rick Astley video, but it was scripted so that the window it came in bounced across the monitor to five separate locations. When I finally got the window to stop bouncing and hit the close button it brought up one of those "Are you sure?" message boxes with an ok button, then it brought up another, and another... and by this point each message box showed a line of the song and kept going and oing until the movie finally ended.

Like I said... just be thankful.
