i tried to pug a majority of a kara run on bane/illhoof/spite and must have gotten 2 or 3 people who were already locked to it and did not realize it. seriously, how hard is it to check your raid id before you come to a raid???? noobs...

on the bright side of things, i did discover that spite can be offtanked by a warrior in half s1 and a crap shield, as long as the healers have >1600 healing and the dps remember to step into the blue beam. we wiped 8 times before i got sick of a hunter fcking up the blue beam and kicked him from the raid.

Yea and also the last few days have been a bit bugged on heroics too, people being saved to instances they never set foot in etc.

Thankfully there was a patch today, no more problems i hope ^^

We've tanked spite with a shadow priest before. All you have to do is know how to dance in and out of the red beam. Having a dps tank the blue beam is given.

We don't even put a healer on the tank for portal phase save for the very start of it before the red beam comes out since it heals them to full tic.

We just have our tanks dance out till they are at half health, jump back in to get healed to full then repeat. Spite is trivial if your beam tankers know what he hell they are doing.

did they change it? used to be that as soon as you stepped out of the beam you got a debuff and couldn't get back in.

It's no an immediate debuff, it's 3 seconds later or something. So you can dance in and out of the red beam to lower the ticks somewhat. I believe it's always been this way.
