A little Off-Hand help Please.Follow

#1 Apr 01 2008 at 4:50 AM Rating: Decent
I picked up a Blade of Wizardry last night, ( Smiley: clap ) I was using a staff prior; so I don't have an off-hand to go wit it yet.

I'm looking for some suggestions for an off-hand that would compliment my new light saber.

I can haz Jedi? Smiley: laugh

Thanks in advance for the help.

Either the badge of justice offhand with the spellhaste or the one with your spec's damage are the easier two to get.

Alternatively, if you run Kara, Spell Hit one off of Netherspite or Spell crit one off of Nightbane.

And if you don't do heroics or Kara, consider the one out of BM or the one out of (Arcatraz, I think). Lamps of something or other, each of them.

Follow-up Question:

Ok, so I have pretty much decided to go with the Fetish of the Primal Gods, even though I am 4 badges short atm, I will get those tonight.

My question is does this count as a weapon?
Meaning can I put Formula: Enchant Weapon - Major Intellect or Formula: Enchant Weapon - Soulfrost on it?

There are no enchants for off hand items, as nice as that would be, it would be very over powered to add another 50+dmg to an offhand item. That badge offhand is great though as it is.

Edit: Off hand weps for dual wielding-yes
Off hand weps for held in hand-no

Thanks Mhog, even though that blows.

I wasn't sure though because when you search the AH they are under Weapons - Misc - Off-hand, so I was hoping.

It's for balance, my friend.

Why would you ever use a staff if you could use a 1h+Offhand and get two enchants out of it (and only one with the staff)?

Probably the same reason my Hunter uses a 2h Axe with +35 Agility as opposed to two one handers that have +20 agility on them.

The 2h items stats are usually better that the 2 1h's combined.

Well perhaps if they changed the enchants. But currently the +dmg enchants are equal for 2h or 1h - so it'd be like your hunter being able to put +35 agil on his main hand weapon.
