What are your favorite grinding locations? Personally the best place for me would be the Area under Area 52 with all those ethereals, there is one named caster I think, and the rest are fast, but weak hitting mobs. One of the best areas, however they lose aggro very quickly, so the most I can get is about 9-12.

My other one is in the Blades Edge, the Rockflayers (I think...) on the same area as the Skygaurd and Ogrilla.

What are yours?

Deaths Door close to Toshleys Station. All demons, no casters and a pretty fast respawn rate. If your Aldor, a very nice place to farm for marks and armaments.

You'll be hated by anyone else grinding there, since you can round up most mobs there. Small area :) Just stay away from the dogs, as they drop nothing.

did my rep grinding there when i wasnt grinding the ah for rep.

have to say they are semi casters they drain your life to fill they'res kinda annoying. but you can stay mounted in the tunnels there to round up more faster i would sugest the one with little guys not the tunnel by the big door since they are spaced out more.

OP:

I ground out a lot of consortium rep at the Heap on those ethereals by one-pulling the whole lot of them. What I did was round up the first lot on horseback, hit consecrate rank 1 and then do a circuit of the whole area, spamming rank 1 consecrate every time it was up. Each time you hit consecrate the game considers it a new spell hitting the mobs, which resets their aggro radius - you can make them follow you pretty much forever with this trick. I even pulled them to Area 52 once just to see the guards mangle them :p

I should point out though that it does take a bit of time to get all of them rounded up so you'll need a fair amount of hp/armour. After I rounded them up I'd just hit my Figurine of the Colossus and laugh as they filled my hp bar back up. God I love that trinket...
