Can someone please check my macro and explain why it's not working how I want it to.. the plan is (from cat form) dire bear -> bash ->back into cat. Here is the macro:
/Cast [form:1] Bash
/cast [noform:1] dire bear form; cat form
It goes into bear form (one touch) and bashes (2nd touch), but doesn't shift back into cat. It just stays in bear and invokes the bash cooldown on the macro button.

If you are in bear form it will just keep trying to bash, even if it is on cooldown. It won't automatically skip it just because it is on cooldown.
