I cannot do it.

Just can't.

I love it so much, but I'm in a position that I feel I NEED Tactical Mastery, but does it have to come at the cost of flurry? I just wish Tactical Mastery was still in the arms tree.

This is my current build. Pretty standard, all around good but changing stances is way to costly. So my options are:
1) Sacrifice Flurry for TM
2) Sacrifice second wind and 1 point in flurry for TM
3) QQ more

Seeing as I am posting and not re-specing I took the third option. So, to all you TM users, How do you do it?

I used to have a TM build without Flurry, but I wanted more DPS. Now I have a 34/27 build. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LV0xdAbog0zbZE0zVMxMM

And I am pretty satified with it. I never looked back at TM. I though I was a stance dancer, but i was not. The only stancedancing I am doing is Overpower, Disarm and Charge. Then I figured it was not worth 3 points in TM, and I was right.

Whenever i change stance now, and I need rage, I pop Bloodrage (if not on CD). And I am satisfied with my current build!

TM is just a waste imo, there are much better spots to put those last 3 points that most people have. TM is viable in arena if you go against a bunch of rogue teams, but other than that i rarely ever use it. In BG i am much too lazy to change stances just to kill a rogue, when i usually have 3-4 other people hitting me along with the rogue.

stance dancing is vital to the upper performance levels of the warrior class. not using them limits your ability to 'excel'.

I had a hard time thinking of a viable (useful) reason to say, "go for TM over flurry".

But, when I did do arena I use a pretty solid, and widely used, build of 33/25/3.

My issues with not having TM come from arena. Mainly versus other Warriors, Mages, and Druids.
Rogues don't give me trouble since they hit so frequently, when I change stances they fill my rage bar up quickly. When I fight other warriors being able to go from zerk stance to pull of a disarm when I am about to be in execute range is very important. As it is right now I need to pop defensive stance and wait for a white hit before I an get the rage to disarm, and that's not a reliable method seeing as even with 10k armor and 350 resil a Warrior can get on a lucky streak and take me from 50% to critical almost instantly.

My problems with mages and druids are trying to get a spell reflect off. With mages It's not too that bad because with the way they love to spam ice lance I'll get the rage I need to time my reflect when I want to, but I have to do more setting up than I would like. With druids it is impossible unless I am already in battle stance. Reflecting a cyclone (and to a lesser extent entangling roots) can make or break a match.

But vs any other class flurry is so damn sexy and as hard as I try I cannot bring myself to part with it.

TM is essential in PvP hands down. Not only for instant spell reflects but also, Offensive intervening, intervene + disarm, disarm. You want to be able to do all these things instantly which is what PvP is all about. For example, you will almost never be able to Spell reflect a hunter's trap or a nature's grasp without TM. It also depends on your team make up and bracket you are playing in. For 5's, TM isn't completely necessary considering warrior's are almost always rage starved and flurry would help that. Doing double healer warrior 3's, you would need to be specced ER or flurry considering you are the only dps, and TM is necessary in 2's, you can let it slide if you are with a shaman but almost always it is necessary.

Some good builds involving TM:

35/23/3

34/24/3

41/17/3

45/13/3

44/14/3

Good damage PvP builds:

33/28

41/20

36/25

Good luck.
