Do they stack? One's the on-hit debuff from the Felhunter and the other is our debuff curse. They do the exact same thing which is lowering the target's attack power by x amount. Neither are all that impressive against anything that isn't a pet in PvP, but combined in PVE?

At level 70, Curse of Weakness chops off 350 attack power. Tainted Blood at level 70, removes 95 attack power and stacks 5 times, making it a total of 475 attack power?

That's a grand total of 825 attack power out the window. Pretty impressive. Since making opponents in PvP hit your Felhunter is nigh impossible (unless they're actually smart enough to figure out that taking down the demon makes the demonologist vulnerable), I figure it would work best for PvE against elites or such.

If only Tainted Blood still put out threat like in the old days, huh?

they can both be applied, so i presume they stack. it's not really worth it in pve though. bosses have like 350 ap and i truely doubt mobs have much more either. the only thing which makes mobs deal massive damage is due to having large multipliers on the AP formulas for those mobs.

POST EDIT

that avatar is freaky as hell, where'd you find that and is there a larger version? :D

Curse of weakness does not stack with demo shout or demo roar, so i doubt it would work. Another issue is how the heck do you intend to get the boss to hit your felhunter, and if he does, it's sure to be oneshot leaving you gimped for the fight. Hardly worth the effort.

On a side note, removing AP is actually very usefull on bosses exactly because of their large multipliers. When a small amount of AP gets multiplied by a lot it hits them pretty hard when you remove some of it. Always worth it to dent the AP of a boss

It was meant more for soloing than instancing. Level 70 open world elites rarely one-shot anything.

also with demo shout/roar and CoW. if you try to apply CoW to a target with already imp.DS/demo roar CoW just doesn't apply to the target. with tainted blood and CoW both can be on the target at the same time. easiest way, duel a warrior and test it out.

They do stack.

I tested it on some of those Windyreeds in Nagrand. 475 attack power loss from a fully stacked Tainted Blood and 350 from Curse of Weakness. The mob still hit for a bit, though. I think, all in all, Curse of Agony/Shadow would be better. Smiley: wink

ya, it won't decrease their damage by much 'cos i doubt they have more than 300 AP :P mobs don't have high AP, just high modifiers on their AP affected abilities
