So tonight I ran Kara for the first time with my new guild who have been gearing up in Kara and ZA for the past few months. I went in with gear from the Pre-Kara gear list and the knowledge of the hunter class I learned from spending way too much time reading posts in this forum. I topped the damage meters as a SV hunter, didn't pull aggro, didn't break CC, but unfortunately wasn't rewarded with any gear. But anyways, just wanted to thank everyone here for the all the great info I've learned about our class from you guys, couldn't have done it without all your helpful posts!

Grats on Kara, hopefully you get some gear next time. Keep up the good work.
Not to hijack the thread, but I too went to Kara for the first time yesterday and thanks to the Pre-Kara gear list here, We only wiped 5 times on Maiden :( which is supposed to be easier than Moroes by a long shot.... One shotted Moroes, and Attumen without a priest healer or a priest at all for the shackle. So both us hunters did our best to chain trap which turned out OK on the Moroes and trash fights.
Attumen drops this Piece and the SV hunter won the roll.
Maiden drops this Piece and I was awarded it.
Again thanks for the info here for preparing me on this Kara journey.

Must be the time of the month or something. I got dragged into a pug Kara, well I was the PUG they were all guildies. I think they were pretty far along, so first wipe was Nightbane? I know they told be about the charred floor but I was too busy trying to do good hunter things. We went back to do Curator and most of that went fine, little things and lots to learn. Ended up at Shade, another n00b wipe! Stand in fire? Don't run away. Anyway we never finished Shade and the only thing I could use was a ring, but someone needed on it before the rest of them said give to the hunter, so I got a couple BoJ. Lots to learn still but the gear list helps alot. I would tell Aethien, but being very humble, he already knows how great it is.
alcattle, watch this and let it cycle through at least 5 times. Problems solved.
